Balik dari hospital tengahari tadi, aku mula melancarkan mogok. Mogok tak mau bercakap! Terus-terusan mengadap komputer, buat kerja. Bila orang tegur, "eh, camana tadi? doc kata apa?..". Aku diam. Sepatah tak jawab. Semua orang terdiam, hairan barangkali. Tak lama lepas tu boz datang. "macamana 2005 punya file tu, u..". Belum pun habis cakap aku terus potong, "nanti i pegi tempat u." *skali macam aku pulak yang boz..* Semua orang masih diam. Pandang aku tak berkelip. Tiba-tiba datang kak Cida entah dari mana. Dipeluknya bahu aku dari belakang. "adik.. doc cakap apa tadi?". Aku terus angkat tangan macam nak baca ikrar. "Saya tak nak cerita pasal ni.." Kak Cida diam. "kenapa ni?..", perlahan suaranya. Aku diam terus. Cuma............. air mata saja yang jatuh. Setitik.. dua titik!

..we should not let time slip thru our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. if we die tomorrow, the company dat we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. but the family and frens we leave behind will feel the lost of the rest of their lives. and come to thinks of it, we pour ourselves more into work than to our family. an unwise investment indeed!
